all file types, and as high as 85% compression on text and
database files •Reduced modem
synchronization and handshaking procedures, minimizing
connect time and, therefore, costs •Automatic mid-message
recovery after break, for minimum retransmission •Delivery, non-delivery
notifications for ship to shore messages
AmosConnect works
in all Ocean Regions via Special Access Code 65 using either

SECURITY OVER THE INTERNET
•Virus
scanning - all messages from the internet will be
scanned automatically for viruses •Black/white lists
- you can decide who can or cannot send e-mails to your vessels
and up to what size. •Messaging rules
- allows you control over received messages. For example you
can remove attachments from certain originators, but allow
the text to be sent. •Queue management
- allows you to view the messages waiting to be collected
by your ships, and delete them if required. You can also see
the time of the last connection.
