Thrane & Thrane presents the TT-3088A Capsat Fleet33 - the smallest and lightest maritime Fleet terminal ever. It is an attractive addition to T&T’s existing Fleet product family – Fleet77 and 55- and Inmarsat’s Fleet services offering global voice, fax and data communications. It is expected to be commercial available at the beginning of November 2003. The Capsat Fleet33 comes with a very small and compact antenna, only 35 cm in diameter, and a weight of only 4 kg. The new terminal provides users with an integrated 9.6 kbps fax and data service within the Inmarsat spot beam area. Furthermore, the Capsat® Fleet33 terminal is prepared for the Mobile Packet Data Service (MPDS) planned for introduction in the beginning of 2004.
