With Stratos crew calling card via FleetBroadband, all costs related to crew communication (voice, email, SMS, chatting  and Internet access) are separate from the vessel’s operational communication costs, with usage deducted from the crewmember’s crew calling card. When a crewmember enters the username and password, they will be presented with a screen to login to ChatCard Data using their ChatCard number. Usage is then deducted from the card in real time.   
 
Stratos crew calling card is available as a scratch or virtual card in denominations of 250, 500 and 750 units.  
It is important to highlight that the same card can be used via FleetBroadband for voice calls, email, SMS, chatting as well as Internet access.   
 
Navarino  realizes that Internet access over satellite could potentially be relatively expensive, so we have taken steps to assist you.  There are three basic categories of website sizes, relative to the amount of Bytes it will take to download:  
 
1. Mini Sites – these are normally associated with sites accessible by mobile phones (GSM /cellular) or PDA’s and are generally in the range of 20 to 30 KB.  
2. Data Lite Sites - such as text-based weather, news and sports sites, are generally in the range of 200 KB or less.  
3. Standard Sites - any type which are normally a minimum of 500 KB. Sites with animation or any type of motion will of course result in continuous data being sent to your FleetBroadband terminal.  
 
To assist the user, Stratos has created a default website upon login to ChatCard Data which is free of charge. This site contains many links to mini and data lite sites for the user’s convenience.
